Can One Small Change Really Make a Difference in Your Health? 5 Week Update

This is a sponsored article written by Smart Savvy Living on behalf of Puritan's Pride. #OneSmallChange

A little over a month ago, just after my 28th birthday, I wrote about how I was making one small change to help make a difference to getting back on track to getting healthier thanks to a challenge issued by Puritan's Pride.

Then a couple weeks later I wrote about the differences I had been experiencing since making the change.

Today I'm back to update you all on how my one change has changed my life in the past 5 weeks and see how you all are doing with your one small change!

Can One Small Change Really Make a Difference in Your Health? 5 Week Update

If you don't remember, my one small change to make a difference in my health was to stop eating as much processed food even though it was convenient since I wanted to be healthier and feel better.

Keeping up with that this past week wasn't the easiest as both Mr. Savvy and myself have been feeling very under the weather, which meant neither of us really felt like cooking.

We were good, though, and when we got food out, made sure it was real food and not fast food even though it was more expensive.

I did also drink several Gatorades instead of just water, coffee and tea, but I thought it was worth it to make sure I stayed well-hydrated while dealing with nasty sinus issues. The big one for me is that I've still been sleeping a lot better.

This is huge for me because I've seen such a positive effect on my whole day. I actually feel like getting up in the morning and don't stare at the wall for an hour or 2 before going to sleep.

That means I'm in a better mood during the day and am much more productive. I'm a procrastinator by nature, but actually feeling like getting work done helps me meet deadlines without stressing a lot easier.

Overall, I have to say that while making a small change isn't always super easy, it can definitely make a big difference in your life. So much so, I'm already thinking of another small change I can make to improve my life even more.Thumb_321e7294-31c9-11e3-81b3-22000af93a2d The second benefit is that I've lost 15 pounds over the past 5 weeks without any counting or really even trying with extra exercise or anything. It's truly amazing just how big of an impact one small change has made in my life recently!
