14 Homemade Chocolate Treats for Valentine's Day

This post about 14 Homemade Chocolate Treats for Valentine's Day is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Foodie.com.

One of the things I love about holidays most is having an excuse to get creative and cooking in the kitchen. Knowing my infinite love for all things chocolate, it's likely not hard to guess that Valentine's Day would be one of my favorite holidays of the year, right? And that's not just because I enjoy getting chocolate (and I so very much do ;)). I choose to celebrate Valentine's Day by making sure to let all my loved ones know just how much I care about them. In our busy lives, an I love you or I care about you or just a thank you for all you do is something that goes unsaid far too often, whether it's to our spouse, family, friends or service providers.

One of the ways I love to let people know how much I care about them is through homemade goodies like muffins, cakes, cookies, preserves and so forth. These days with so many of us not having the time to cook or bake, especially from scratch, it's such an extra meaningful gesture. Some of my favorites to make are chocolate chip banana muffins for Mr. Savvy, because I'm so bananas about him (and he's constantly asking me to make them), or browned butter chocolate chip cookies that everyone loves.

I like the Hershey's kisses cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries. I also like to make Decorated Valentine Sugar Cookies. There are some good recipes here.

I'm interested in the clever way of putting icing on the strawberries after cutting them open.

Oh yum! These recipes look so delicious! I LOVE chocolate. I like the banana chocolate chip muffin idea and the Orange-kissed churros with "Hot" chocolate sauce is one I really want to try.

these are great! Some of my favs are to make heart shaped sugar cookies and then decorate them with pink and red and white. I also like healthy treats like pink smoothies with lots of strawberries and coconut!

Ok, I pinned it! I'll be using at least a couple of these, but probably more! Having all of the grandkids over, so we want a large variety!! Thanks!
